Business Process & Services Information
This page explains how the Ardindo platform works end to end — from the business model, how users register and sign in, the product catalog display, payment methods, to consumer complaint resolution. Everything on this page is publicly accessible without signing in.
Business Model
Ardindo is an Electronic System Trading Operator (PMSE) running three trading models on a single platform:
In line with the Electronic Commerce (PMSE) classification, the service types operated by Ardindo include:
- Retail Trade (Perdagangan Eceran) — selling goods at retail (per unit) directly to general consumers via the electronic system.
- Business-to-Business Trade (B2B) — wholesale/corporate transactions between registered sellers/companies.
- Government Goods/Services Procurement (B2G) — procurement services for government and village institutions per LKPP / e-Catalogue standards.
User Login & Registration Method
To transact, end users access the service through a registered account. Browsing the catalog needs no account; an account is required when placing an order.
- Open the Register page, then fill in your details (name, email, and password).
- Verify your email address via the confirmation link sent to the registered email.
- For sellers/suppliers: complete identity verification (KYC) and store profile via the Complete Profile Wizard before selling.
- Open the Sign In page, then enter your account identifier and password.
- The identifier field accepts Email, NIP (for civil servants), or NIB (for businesses).
- After signing in, users are routed to a dashboard matching their role (Buyer, Supplier, PP, PPK, or Treasurer).
Product & Service Catalog Display
All traded goods and digital products/services appear in an online catalog that can be browsed openly without signing in. The catalog is organized by category and presents products as cards, so prospective buyers can browse, compare, and inspect details before deciding to buy.
- Catalog page (product-card grid): each card shows the product image, name, price, seller/store name, location, and rating.
- Filters & search: filter by category, price range, and rating; keyword search; and sorting (most popular, newest, or price).
- Product detail page: image gallery, price (with a strikethrough price when discounted), availability/stock, specifications and variants, full description, seller information, plus buyer reviews and ratings.
- Buyer actions: an "Add to Cart" button and continue to the ordering process (ordering requires login).
Traded items include both physical goods and digital products/services across many categories — from office supplies, electronics, and equipment to services and digital offerings. For government and village procurement, the products shown follow the e-Catalogue (LKPP) provisions.
Payment Method
All payments are processed through a certified third-party payment gateway, Midtrans. Ardindo does not store users' payment card data.
- Bank transfer / Virtual Account of several national banks
- Digital wallets (e-wallet)
- QRIS
- Credit / debit card
- The buyer completes checkout and selects a payment channel.
- The payment is processed securely through Midtrans.
- The system automatically verifies the payment status before the order is forwarded to the seller.
- Funds are released to the seller's balance once the payment is confirmed; government procurement uses the Direct (LS) or Cash Advance (UP) payment mechanism.
Consumer Complaint Resolution
Consumers may file complaints through the Ardindo Consumer Complaint Service or the Directorate General of Consumer Protection and Trade Compliance (Ditjen PKTN), Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia. Complaint contact information is accessible without login, and the handling flow is explained on the Complaint Handling Mechanism page.
